This Privacy Policy explains how Rocket Jobs collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit rocketjobs.ai, contact us, request access, purchase access, or use related onboarding and support services.
Rocket Jobs is a local-first AI job-search and application automation product. That means some data processing may happen through the third-party tools or AI systems you choose to connect, and some data may be handled by us to operate the website, deliver access, provide support, and improve the product.
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
We use personal information to:
Rocket Jobs is designed to work with AI-assisted tools and generated outputs. That means personal information you choose to include in prompts, resumes, cover letters, application answers, or support examples may be processed through AI-enabled workflows.
AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or biased outputs, sometimes called hallucinations. You should review all generated content before relying on it, submitting it to an employer, or using it in an automated workflow.
Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information to us or through AI tools. If you use third-party AI providers, agents, or model platforms with Rocket Jobs, their privacy terms and data practices may also apply.
We advertise on Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To understand which ads lead to applications, we use the Meta pixel on this website and the Meta Conversions API from our servers. Both report the same events; they are two paths for the same measurement.
When you submit an application, we send Meta the following:
Hashing means Meta does not receive your email address itself. It is still information about you: Meta compares the hash against its own records to determine whether an ad led to your application. We do not send Meta the content of your application — your target role, compensation floor, or LinkedIn profile are not shared with Meta.
If you are later accepted or pay for our services, we report those outcomes to Meta in the same way, so that advertising spend can be measured against real results.
You can limit this. Blocking advertising cookies in your browser prevents the cookie-based identifiers from being created. Meta provides ad preference and off-Facebook activity controls in your Meta account settings. You may also email us using the details in section 12 to request deletion of the information we hold about you.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why we collected it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. You may also have rights to object to or limit certain processing.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings and stop contacting us at any time. To make a privacy request, email support@rocketjobs.ai.
Rocket Jobs is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
